Eli Rennert serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Lending Officer at First Commerce Bank, where he leads the Lending and Business Development departments. He joined the bank in 2011 following the recapitalization and rebranding of Northern State Bank. Previously, Eli served as the Bank’s Community Reinvestment Officer, consistently earning an Outstanding regulatory rating.
Eli holds a Master’s Degree in Financial Accounting from Fairleigh Dickinson University, Teaneck and an MBA with a concentration in Financial Services Management from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. He is also a graduate of the ABA Stonier Graduate School of Banking and the Wharton Leadership Program at the University of Pennsylvania.
Active in the community, Eli serves in leadership roles with several Lakewood organizations, including the Development Corporation, Housing Authority, Planning Board, Chamber of Commerce, and Urban Enterprise Zone Finance Committee. His professional achievements have been recognized with the New Jersey Bankers Rising Star Award and the NJBIZ Forty Under 40 Award.
